Ok, the Nobel Museum
Gift Shop
to be more precise. During the
museum’s Marie Curie exhibit -
Sept 17, 2011 – January 2012 -
the gift shop will be selling
a cross stitch kit with the
pattern for my portrait of
Madame Curie and I couldn’t
be more excited. The kits won’t
be available online so you’ll have
to go to Stockholm to get one.
This didn’t make it into the shift show but it’s still one of my favorites.

Photos of the show at Gay Fay Kelly are here.
All work from my show “shift” is available for viewing at this site – http://www.shiftshow.net/
The pieces in “shift” are a compilation of moving images compressed into one still image. The moving images are from the television series “Dragnet 1967”. Photoshop compares each frame and combines the result so that anything that’s moving in the frame is manipulated, while everything that stays still remains relatively unchanged.
My solo show “Shift” opens January 29 and will be up through February 24 at Gay Fay Kelly Art. More images: Auto 3 Sway 3 Talk 9 Universal 2 Walk 8 Witness 9

I love my iphone camera and I especially love my Hipstamatic app. I was recently in Houston for a wedding and we managed to sneak in a visit to Space Center Houston. Here’s what I shot.
Drive is a new print I made for a group show
beginning July 10 at Gay Fay Kelly Art in Austin.

Just posted a video I made for an immersive play called, “There is Never a Reference Point”. By immersive I mean that the audience walked through the sets and could stand near the characters. The play was based on the writer’s friendship with a woman who had multiple personalities. Patricia was a child personality and this video was playing on a monitor in a room that people could walk through. The sound was provided by Patrick Murphy.
